Production matters and processing methods of 304 stainless steel strip

We know that 304 stainless steel belt is easy to rust in air and water, but its service life is relatively long as it is used in a dry environment. Because it is used in many occasions, its sales volume has been high. In order to meet the needs of production, general manufacturers have some precautions and processing methods that deserve people's attention.

Generally speaking, the width of 304 stainless steel strip is generally controlled within 1300mm. As for the length, there is no clear provision. The length and size of each roll can be different. According to the thickness of the plate, it can be divided into thick strip steel and thin strip steel. The thin strip steel is divided into 4mm as the dividing line. According to the width, it can be divided into wide strip steel and narrow strip steel, and the width is 600mm as the dividing line.

There are two main processing methods for 304 stainless steel strip, namely hot rolling and cold rolling. During production, the following matters need to be paid attention to:

1. Before starting work, it is necessary to check whether the electrical parts and rotating parts of the production equipment are safe and reliable.

2. The environment of the work site should be clean and tidy, the materials stacked on the site should be neat, and obstacles should not be stacked on the channel.

3. Workers must wear work clothes and protective tools when necessary.

4. During processing, it is forbidden to touch 304 stainless steel belt and rotating parts by hand to avoid accidents.

5. When using the crane, the operating procedures shall be observed one by one to check whether the steel wire rope is complete and whether the hook is hung properly. Pay attention to avoid dropping the steel belt when hanging it.
