201 Requirements For Transportation And Storage Of Stainless Steel Plate
Leave a message
When the 201 stainless steel plate produced by the manufacturer is loaded, there are many precautions. When loading, the backing or edging should be done first to avoid the deformation of the plate due to vibration during transportation.
Generally speaking, the heavier plate should be placed at the bottom, and the thinner plate should be placed on the top as much as possible to avoid being pressed and deformed by the heavy plate.
Select the transportation organization according to the size and quantity of plates. If the quantity is small and the volume is small, you can choose small and medium-sized express transportation. If the quantity is slightly large and the volume of plates is slightly large, you can choose small and medium-sized logistics companies. If the quantity is relatively large and the volume is relatively large, you can choose large charter logistics.
When loading precision 201 stainless steel plate, it should be equipped with a special storage rack. The material of the storage rack should be wood or carbon steel support. The surface of the carbon steel support should be painted or padded with rubber pad, so as to avoid confusion with the plate.
During storage, the storage place should be convenient for lifting, and the storage place should have certain protective measures to avoid moisture, oil and dust from affecting the plate.
In order to avoid scratching the surface of steel during transportation and handling, special lifting appliances, such as sling, shall be used during hoisting, and steel wire rope shall not be used.
201 stainless steel plate is a kind of plate with a wide range of uses, but if it is not transported and stored properly, it may lead to plate deformation, rust and surface damage. Therefore, both manufacturers and customers need to pay attention to its transportation and preservation.
