Causes of surface fracture of 316L stainless steel strip

The surface fracture of 316L stainless steel strip will affect its sales price. What causes the surface fracture? Let's analyze:
Generally speaking, the temperature of furnace air supply is about 200 ℃, while the heat-resistant temperature of this steel strip is less than 100 ℃ (air supply temperature). The furnace air supply temperature of the manufacturer is lower than 100 ℃, that is, once the air supply temperature exceeds 100 ℃, the bypass flue needs to be opened to cut off the flue gas. The purpose of this is to reduce the air supply temperature of the air preheater.
If no bypass flue is added to the furnace body, but the waste heat steam generator is added, the 316L steel strip is prone to fracture. Generally speaking, the waste heat steam generator needs to be installed in front of the air preheater, so as to reduce the flue gas temperature in the air preheater.
Keep the temperature of the air supply between 80 ~ 90 ℃, so that the temperature is almost lower than 100 ℃, and the surface of 316L steel strip is not easy to fracture, and no obvious oxide will be produced.
If the waste heat steam generator is not installed, the air supply temperature in the furnace is as high as 200 ℃,
The surface of 316L steel will be broken. If the waste heat steam generator is installed, the air supply temperature will be reduced, which will not easily break the 316L steel strip, but also improve the oxidation performance and prolong the service life.
In addition, because 316L stainless steel strip is in overtemperature operation for a long time, it is worth the oxide on its surface, so the mechanical strength of the steel strip surface decreases, the texture becomes brittle and cracks gradually appear.
